The delicate velvety cold smooth leaf
Silently shifts in the wind
Then a glossy drop of dew descends to its soil.

My fat dog
He looks like a round log

He chases his tail
When I get the mail

When he’s in the mood
He will eat a lot of food

He is very sweet
When he gets a treat!

I’ll bet you a dime
I cannot rhyme

As you can see
I rhyme without glee

I’m sure to flunk
All my writing is lousy junk

Pleasing Gorgeous tints
Of yellow, blue, and violet
On a mountainside

My poem is bad
I put it in a want ad

I might cry
But I don’t know why

People thought it was horrible
But I think is adorable

Tick-Tock Tick-Tock
Goes the clock

Time to go to school
Some of the people there are so uncool

I listen to my teacher blab on and on
When someone blurts out, her patience is gone

When someone is bad my teacher will shout
So if the bell rings, we all will run out

School is over once again
Because of this we all say amen.

Vibrant orange bird
Happily ate a nut with
Another finch

Tall elephant grass whistles
Rain drops smooth the green grass
As the wind slowly blows.

Brown sharp pointy thorns
Tall green cactus touching sky
Standing years and years

Bobbing in water
The leaf whirls slowly down the stream
Into the pond

Rough rock sits upon a hill
Silent as the night
Centuries older than all we know

Flames flickering up
Fire gobbling acres
Match sits quietly

I'm a nerd,
I'm a dork.
I scratch my back with a fork.

I wear white shirts
and I tuck them in.
My protractor is my greatest friend.

My head is big,
my muscles are small.
I'm even smarter than Paul!

I have a cat
She is very fat.

She lays around all day
Every day in the month of May.

She has a brother
But no mother

She can be mean
But isn’t lean

But I have a nice cat
That is fat, fat, fat

Shadow on the patio
Eating bones yummy
Waiting to play with me.

Sharp teeth falling out
As they attack their huge prey
WATCH OUT! You are next!

There was no time to finish a rhyme,
but my teacher said I needed 8 lines.
I wrote a couplet but it was too short,
so my teacher said to write a report.
when i finally got done it was time for lunch
so I had a sandwich and Hawaiian punch
when the school day was done it was time for lunch,
there's still school tommorrow, that's so very sad.
